I got tinnitus from having one ear microsuctioned almost three years ago. I’ve been left mostly deaf in that ear and with deafening and non stop tinnitus.
I’ve been house bound since it started and bedridden for almost two years. I’ve not been able to eat a meal since having the procedure, just been existing on crisps, chocolate and a sandwich a day.
My sleep pattern has gone haywire and I’m sleeping during the day now as much as I can. Due to being house bound I’ve not been able to visit the dentist and my teeth have started falling out and I’ve been having very painful toothache.
I don’t think about the future as at present I don’t have one.
The only person I see is my fiance as family don’t want to know.
I was always someone who was very careful with my ears, I hadn’t even been to the cinema since 2005 as it was much too loud, only been to a handful of concerts in my life, the last one in 2000, never been to nightclubs or anywhere loud.
